Social commitment:

Social responsibility is a matter close to the heart of the wero team, both regionally and internationally. Since 2016, wero has been supporting the "Josef Prinz-OPAM-Stiftung zur Förderung der sozialen Entwicklung durch Alphabetisierung" and, through it, the deaf-mute boy Collin Lubegga from Uganda. This will enable him to receive a school education.

Afterwards, he will attend a technical school to be able to provide for his own livelihood. In the region, we support Wippkids e.V. in Wipperfürth, among others. The goal here is long-term prevention work to avoid violence.
